Looking down from the top of the east wall at remnants of Cuban escape boats. These are open hull boats used for crossing to the United States from Cuba.


This is the remnants of the docks used for coaling of warships during WWII.


This was used for storage of powder used in the large cannons mounted in the fort back when it was active..


The hurricanes have pretty much breached the moat on the south side of the old fort!


The frigate birds are out in full force guarding the sky over the old fort.


The end of the visit to Fort Jefferson in the Dry Torgtugas National Park. There are only two ways to get to this park, either by sea or air.


That really wore me out. I just need a little rest and then I will be OK.
